The Kubu Queen operates on a stretch of approx. 150 km of the Okavango River in Botswana, from the Mohembo border with Namibia in the north to an area called Sepopa in the south.
This area is made up of unspoilt waterways , lush islands and thick papyrus swamps.
The waterways support healthy crocodile and hippo populations, elephant and the rare sitatunga antelope are amongst some of the mammals that inhabit the papyrus swamp.
