It has been described by some as the "Louvre of the Desert" With the hills being adorned with over 3500 Bushman paintings, some dating back to around 800-1300AD, these hauntingly beautiful hills are deemed sacred and a visit to the hills will leave you in awe . The Bushman who have inhabited this area for thousands of years believe that the hills are the resting place for the spirits of the deceased.
