The Okavango River’s clear waters are home to a variety of fish as well as crocodiles, hippopotamus and otters. They also support an abundance of bird life. Several species of bird are rare and endemic to the area, namely the African Skimmers and the Pel’s Fishing Owl. In this part of the Okavango guests also have the opportunity to glimpse a sighting of the elusive Sitatunga antelope.
